🛠️ Setup Guide (Quick Start)

1. Select the correct connector size — Measure your cable's outer diameter (OD). The PC11 accepts 3–8mm OD cables. If your cable is outside this range, select a different PC specification.
2. Disassemble the connector — Unscrew the compression nut from the connector body. Slide the nut and rubber seal grommet off the body.
3. Thread the cable — Pass your cable through the compression nut first, then through the rubber seal grommet, then through the connector body.
4. Make your electrical connections — Connect your cable wires inside the enclosure as required (solder, crimp, or terminal block). Leave enough cable slack inside the enclosure for strain relief.
5. Seal the connector — Slide the rubber grommet up to the connector body entry point. Hand-tighten the compression nut firmly until the grommet compresses around the cable. Do not over-tighten — the grommet should grip the cable firmly without deforming it.Apply thread sealant tape (PTFE) to the threads for additional waterproofing if needed.
6. Test the seal — For critical applications (eFoil, ROV), perform a submersion test before full deployment. Submerge the sealed connector for 30 minutes and check for moisture ingress inside the enclosure.
