🛠️ Setup Guide

1. Check cable compatibility — Please confirm that the cable is within the 10AWG-12AWG range before installation. Strip the cable insulation to the appropriate length (typically 4–6mm) to expose the conductor for soldering.
2. Prepare the cable end — Thread the cable through the connector's cable gland nut before attaching the terminal. This step is critical — the gland nut cannot be added after the terminal is attached.
3. Attach the terminal — Solder the exposed conductor to the connector terminal pin. Ensure a solid, low-resistance connection. 
4. Assemble the connector body — Tighten the cable gland nut firmly to compress the seal around the cable jacket — this creates the IP67 waterproof seal. Do not over-tighten.Insert the terminal into the connector body until it clicks into place.
5. Connect male to female — align the male and female connectors and push together while rotating clockwise until the locks. The connectors will auto-lock when fully engaged. To disconnect, rotate counter-clockwise while pulling — do not force-pull without unlocking the thread.
6. Test before use — verify continuity with a multimeter before applying power. Check that the cable gland seal is tight and no conductor is exposed outside the connector body.

Yes. The connector is rated IP67 — protected against temporary immersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. It is suitable for rain, splash, and brief submersion. For continuous underwater operation (e.g., underwater thruster wiring), consider IP68-rated connectors. Ensure the cable gland nut is fully tightened during assembly to achieve the IP67 rating — a loose gland will compromise the seal.
