  1. Choose your variant β€” "M 100 PRO" (ESC only) or "M 100 PRO + Waterproof Connectors Γ—3" if you need sealed phase connections for underwater use.
  2. Connect motor phase wires β€” plug the 3-phase wires (A-B-C) from your motor into the ESC. Direction can be reversed in VESC Tool if the motor spins the wrong way.
  3. Connect battery β€” use an XT90 or AS150 anti-spark connector. Verify voltage is within 14–84V before powering on.

Q1: Does it support official firmware??
The Manatee 100 Pro is based on the open-source VESC platform and Running custom firmware. It is compatible with VESC Tool for configuration and real-time monitoring. It uses the STM32F4 MCU and supports the full VESC feature set including FOC, CAN bus, and all sensor types.

Q2: What motors is it compatible with?
It supports brushless (BLDC), brushed DC, and IPM motors. Sensor support includes sensorless, HALL, ABI encoder, AS5047, and AS5048A. Motor temperature sensors (NTC 10K/100K, PTC 1K, KTY83/122) are also supported. In short: if it's a common electric motor type, this ESC can drive it.

Q3: Is the waterproofing sufficient for eFoil / underwater use?
The ESC body is sealed to 5 meters depth.
