🛠️ Setup Guide

  1. Verify voltage compatibility — the FD75200 ESC supports 14–75V (3S–16S); the 75141 motor supports up to 18S (75V). Use a 12S–16S LiPo or Li-ion pack for this kit. Ensure your battery has a minimum 120A continuous discharge rating for full-power operation. Do not exceed 75V (16S fully charged) on the ESC.
  2. Connect motor phase wires — connect the 75141's 8mm gold plug phase wires (1,300mm extension) to the FD75200 ESC phase outputs. Rotation direction can be corrected by swapping any two phase wires, or via VESC Tool motor direction setting. Test rotation direction at low throttle before installing the propeller.
  3. Connect water cooling — attach the FD75200 ESC's water cooling circuit to your board's water intake. Ensure water flows through the ESC before running at high current. The 75141 motor is fully waterproof and passively cooled by water flow during operation.
  4. Connect battery — use a high-current connector rated for 120A+ (Firduo 120A–250A waterproof connector recommended). Use an anti-spark switch or pre-charge resistor to prevent connector arcing. Verify battery voltage matches your ESC configuration before connecting.
  5. Connect VX5 receiver — connect the VX5 receiver to the FD75200 ESC's UART port for full telemetry (motor power, GPS speed, fault codes on VX5 display). Alternatively, connect via PPM for standard throttle control. Pair the VX5 remote with the receiver before first use.
  6. Configure via VESC Tool — connect the FD75200 to your PC via USB.
